It would be extremely helpful to have some sort of informational sheet that we as, IPs, could give to our employees who are flu vaccine "hold-outs" about the safety of the vaccine and why it's so important to get it. If this could come from an "authority" in the state it would mean so much more than just what I tell the employee. If it could be signed by someone like Dr. Quinlisk or a similar authority, I believe our employees might be more likely to see it as a more credible source. I need some help "selling the vaccine" to those few that have never taken it. Thanks!

| Holly - Thanks for this feedback. One piece of information IHC put out this past season was a series of newsletter on topics surrounding healthcare worker immunizations. This link will take you to one of these which I think addresses your suggestion, minus the signature from Dr. Quinlisk. http://www.ihconline.org/UserDocs/Pages/Employee_Newsletter_2.pdf I'll take your suggestion about a letter and put it on the list of our actions to consider for the upcoming campaign. Thanks! Gerd Clabaugh
