This rapid cycle improvement session will JUMP START an infection prevention team’s effort to reduce hospital acquired infections or aid in the development of tactics for new forming teams.

The JUMP START will feature three two-week infection specific topic cycles to provide Compass HIIN hospitals with education, resources  and tools to identify, assess and target prevention efforts in the  reduction of Ventilator Associated Events, Clostridioides difficile  infections and Post-operative Sepsis and Septic Shock (AHRQ PSI 13 and NQF 0500).

Target Audience

Chief nursing officers, directors of nursing, quality directors, infec-tion preventionists, respiratory therapists, environmental services,  providers, nurse leaders, staff nurses, pharmacists and quality  improvement specialists.

Ready to JUMP START?

If you are ready to sign up, please have your quality director or  infection preventionist and chief nursing officer sign and return  the Commitment of Participation for one or all of the selected  HAI focus areas to omerhodzica@ihconline.org by September 30, 2019. Once we receive your Commitment of Participation, we will send you the pre-assessment.

Timeline

All events will take place on Wednesday, with the exception of week 5 on a Tuesday.
